WHAT IS A PATIENT ADVOCATE?
Many people make assumptions about who will make medical decisions for them if they are not able. This often causes chaos and disruption of medical treatment.
A Patient Advocate Designation is a written document where you list the person who you want to make your medical decisions if you cannot. A Patient Advocate Designation must be signed while you are legally competent. If a Patient Advocate Designation is signed by a person who has become impaired, it may not be legally enforceable.
Browning & Associates is a team of professional advocates who are experienced at handling medical emergencies. We regularly go to the hospital and work with the medical team to determine the best course of action for our clients.
We also oversee routine medical care for clients who are no longer able to make their own medical decisions. We provide peace of mind by keeping the client and their loved ones informed, answering questions and listening to concerns.
